Innovative Community Participation

At Brilliant Care Providers, our Innovative Community Participation program is designed to support NDIS participants in developing the skills, confidence, and connections needed to take an active role in their community. We focus on capacity building and personal growth, supporting individuals in exploring their interests, increasing social engagement, and working towards greater independence or employment opportunities.

Our approach is person-centred and flexible. Our Community Engagement Practitioners work directly with participants in real-life community settings—side by side—offering practical, empowering support to help build confidence and reduce reliance on formal services over time.

What We Support You With

Participants accessing our Innovative Community Participation program can receive support with:

Building social confidence and increasing community engagement
Understanding the role of relationships, contribution, and inclusion in overall wellbeing
Identifying personal interests, strengths, and goals, and aligning them with training or work opportunities
Emotional awareness and self-regulation for better social interaction
Developing adaptive social skills and understanding social norms
Strengthening independence, self-worth, and confidence
Navigating community services, education programs, or employment pathways
Accessing training, volunteering, or job-readiness supports
Reducing dependence on formal supports through long-term capacity building
